Overview

Computa ("the App") is a bike computer app for Apple Watch and iPhone. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your choices.

Data We Collect

The App collects the following data locally on your devices:

• Location data — GPS coordinates during ride recording for route tracking, navigation, and ride history maps.
• Health data — Heart rate and active calories via Apple HealthKit during workouts.
• Ride recordings — Distance, speed, elevation, duration, and other ride metrics stored locally.
• Routes — GPX route files you import for navigation.
• Settings — Your preferences (units, alerts, rider profile).

Third-Party Services

If you choose to connect third-party accounts, the App will:

• Strava — Upload ride recordings and/or import routes using your Strava account. Requires OAuth authentication. The App stores your access token securely in the device Keychain.
• Ride With GPS — Import routes using your RWGPS account. Requires OAuth authentication. The App stores your access token securely in the device Keychain.
• Apple Health — Save workout data (route, heart rate, calories) to Apple Health. You control this in the App's Integrations settings.

These integrations are optional. You can connect and disconnect at any time.

Data Storage

All ride data, routes, and settings are stored locally on your iPhone and Apple Watch. The App does not have its own servers and does not transmit your data to us. Data shared with third-party services (Strava, RWGPS) is governed by their respective privacy policies.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect personal information (name, email, etc.)
• We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs
• We do not serve advertisements
• We do not sell or share your data with anyone

Your Choices

• You can delete any ride or route from the App at any time.
• You can disconnect third-party accounts at any time.
• You can revoke location and health permissions in iOS Settings.
• Deleting the App removes all locally stored data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
